Job summary

A recruitment firm in Singapore is looking for a Technical Support Specialist to provide pre-sales and post-sales support. The ideal candidate will assist customers with technical requirements, offer training, and troubleshoot issues. A degree in engineering and knowledge of programming in C, C++ are preferred. This role requires excellent customer interaction skills and the ability to manage projects effectively.

Job description

Responsibilities:

  • Technical Support: Provide pre-sales and post-sales technical support to customers. Assist in understanding product specifications, features, and applications.
  • Customer Interaction: Engage with customers to understand their technical requirements and challenges. Offer solutions and recommendations based on the company's products or services.
  • Training: Provide training sessions for customers, sales teams, and distributors. Ensure that end-users have a clear understanding of product functionality.
  • Troubleshooting: Investigate and resolve technical issues or challenges faced by customers. Collaborate with the engineering team to find solutions.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, marketing, and engineering, to address customer needs and provide a seamless customer experience.
  • Product Knowledge: Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of the company's products, technologies, and industry trends.
  • Technical Documentation: Create and update technical documentation, including manuals, application notes, and technical guides.
  • Project Management: Manage technical aspects of projects, ensuring successful implementation and customer satisfaction.
  • Post-Sales Support: Continue to provide support after product sales, ensuring ongoing customer satisfaction and addressing any additional needs.

Requirements:

  • Degree/Diploma in Computer or Electrical or Electronic Engineering or equivalent
  • Knowledge of programming in C,C++ are added advantages
  • Knowledge of embedded electronics fundamentals
  • Have knowledge of LoRaWAN and related IoT products are added advantages.
  • Have passion for exploratory testing and test automation are added advantages.
  • Able to work independently within tight schedule with positive disposition.
  • Excellent knowledge on Microsoft Office (Words, Excel & Powerpoint)
