Job summary

Sembcorp Industries Ltd is seeking a Site Supervisor – M&E in Singapore to lead and coordinate mechanical and electrical works on construction sites. The role requires ensuring work is executed safely, efficiently, and in line with design specs, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.

The candidate will mentor junior staff, support the Site Manager in achieving project goals, and maintain strong safety procedures across operations.

Qualifications

• Diploma or equivalent in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in the construction industry.
• Possess relevant trade foreman certificate, NCC, BCSS etc.
• Strong leadership and coordination skills; proactive site operations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate mechanical and electrical works on-site.

Purpose and Scope

The Site Supervisor – M&E is responsible for leading and coordinating mechanical & electrical works on-site. This role ensures that construction activities are executed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with design specifications, quality standards, and regulatory requirements. The Site Supervisor also mentors junior staff and supports the Site Manager in achieving project goals.

• Responsible for site supervision and coordination of Mechanical & Electrical works
• Site supervision of construction workers
• Ensure site safety and prepare safe work procedure with Safety personnel

Requirements

• Diploma or equivalent in Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in the construction industry
• Possess relevant trade foreman certificate, NCC, BCSS etc
• Strong understanding of construction processes, safety regulations, and quality standards.
• Proven experience in leading site teams and resolving technical issues.
• Strong leadership and coordination skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented and proactive in managing site operations.
• Only Singaporean may be considered due to the sensitive job nature.
