Description
  • Oversee the day-to-day execution of construction projects, ensuring alignment with project plans, timelines, and quality standards.
  • Study and interpret project drawings, BOQs, building guidelines, and method statements to develop a comprehensive understanding and establish execution plans with the Project Manager.
  • Liaise closely with Designers, Quantity Surveyors, Project Managers, consultants, and subcontractors to coordinate efforts and resolve site issues promptly.
  • Develop and monitor project schedules and budgets, ensuring timely delivery and cost efficiency while meeting project objectives.
  • Ensure high standards of workmanship through quality checks, recommend corrective actions for deficiencies, and implement risk mitigation strategies.
  • Conduct regular health, safety, and environmental (HSE) checks, manage incident reports, and ensure site practices comply with safety regulations.
  • Prepare and submit weekly progress reports, highlight discrepancies, and maintain accurate documentation throughout the construction phase.
  • Attend site and client meetings, carry out site measurements, and provide updates on construction progress and issues.
  • Arrange submission of plans for authority approvals and coordinate inspection schedules to ensure legal and procedural compliance.
Requirements
  • Min 3 years of related experience in Interior Design Industry/Renovation
  • Diploma or Degree holder Engineering / Building / Construction, Architecture or equivalent (Candidates with experience in the Architecture and Interior Works will be advantageous.)
  • Able to work under pressure and with a sense of urgency to meet tight deadlines
  • Knowledgeable in project management processes for all stages of project.
  • Service-oriented with excellent interpersonal and communication.
  • Resourceful: Able to adapt according to the changing environment
  • Able to communicate effectively with colleagues, clients, and subcontractors
