Job summary

A construction company in Singapore is seeking a site supervisor to oversee installation work and ensure subcontractor compliance with schedules. The ideal candidate has experience in the construction industry, preferably with HDB projects, and can manage quality standards to meet CONQUAS and QM requirements.

Qualifications

• Working experience in the construction industry - HDB project would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Supervise project and report on daily progress regarding installation work.
• Ensure subcontractor’s progress is in accordance with schedule.
• Prepare work order for fabrication works and arrange for installation.
• Carry out site supervision of construction workers and arrange inspection.
• Ensure quality work to achieve CONQUAS or QM requirements.
• Support Safety Team by ensuring compliance with Safety procedures.
• Provide feedback and solutions on technical problems.
• Liaise with authorities, subcontractors, and clients on submissions and inspections.

Job description

· To supervise on project and report on daily progress regarding installation work on site

· To supervise subcon works and ensure subcontractor’s progress in accordance to schedule set

· To prepare work order for fabrication works and arrange for installation in accordance with approved drawings and materials

· To carry out site supervision of construction workers and arrange inspection with RTO

· To ensure quality work in order to achieve CONQUAS and or QM requirements

· To support Safety Team by ensuring subcontractors are complying to Safety procedures and requirement

· To provide feedback and solution on technical problems

· Liaise and work with relevant authorities /subcontractors / clients on shop drawings /equipment submission, inspection, testing requirements and commissioning

· Working experience in the construction industry - HDB project would be an advantage
