Job summary

LWL Engineering PTE. LTD. is seeking a field engineer to support solar energy projects in Singapore. The role focuses on site visits, feasibility studies, solar system design, and hands-on execution across multiple site locations.

You will perform site audits, develop technical specifications for electrical, mechanical, and civil works, and ensure safety and quality through SOPs and rigorous checks. Collaboration with procurement, contractors, and vendors is essential.

Responsibilities

• conduct site visits, site feasibility, solar system design and complete execution.
• Conduct site audits and prepares technical, mechanical, and civil specifications and configurations for solar energy solutions.
• Conduct quality checks on the installation of solar PV systems and assists to develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure safety and quality assurance on sites.
• Develop project plans and evaluates on the progress of various projects.
• Provide technical direction or support to Project Manager during installation, start up, testing, system commissioning, or performance monitoring.
• Co-ordinate with various teams within the company such as procurement, electrical contractors, civil contractors, and OEM vendors.
• Create checklist for review or inspection of completed solar installation projects.
• Maintaining of files and documents.
• Any other responsibilities assigned
