Job summary

A leading company in safety advisory is looking for a Safety Officer to manage site safety and facilitate safety training. The role involves preparing safety documentation and using AutoCAD for site drawings. Candidates should have relevant experience in safety coordination, project management, and facility maintenance, as well as an advance certificate in workplace safety.

Qualifications

• 1 to 2 years’ experience as Safety Officer.
• Preferably with experience in site coordination, PM, and installation works.
• Advantageous background in service and facility maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Carry out Safety rules as per SOPs and Work Instructions.
• Prepare documents for risk assessment and method statement.
• Conduct monthly safety orientation meetings for staff.

Job description

• Working Days: 5 Days (Mon-Fri)
• Working Hours: 8:30am-5:30pm
• Location: Ang Mo Kio
• Salary $2,800 - $3,500

Job Descriptions:

• To carry out Safety rules accordance with the Standard Operating Procedures and Work Instructions at site.
• To set expectations and establish core emergency response skill and knowledge to undertake the responsibilities of a Site Incident Controller (SIC).
• To prepare documents for risk assessment and method statement.
• Provide monthly meetings on safety orientation to Technical staff
• To do drawing for project sites using Auto-cad for draughting.

Job Requirements:

• Relevant 1 to 2 years’ experience for Safety Officer and safety co-ordination work.
• Advance Certificate in Workplace safety and Health (Level B and Above.)
• Preferably with experience in site coordination, project management (PM), and installation works.
• Advantageous to have experience in service and facility maintenance for hospitals, nursing homes, and industrial sites.
• Proficient in MS Office, PC literate, and well-versed in AutoCAD drawing.
