Job summary

PERMANENT PERSONNEL SERVICES PTE LTD is seeking a Safety Manager to lead the review and continual improvement of the Safety Management System. You will establish and upkeep Safe Work Procedures, conduct risk assessments, and deliver training aligned with risk controls.

The role requires MOM WSH Officer certification, NEA ECO, and strong knowledge of ISO/QEHS standards. You will coordinate with main contractors and site teams at construction locations to ensure compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum a second-class honours degree in Occupational Health, Safety, Engineering or relevant field preferred.
• MOM registered WSH Officer and Fire Safety Manager.
• NEA registered Environmental Control Officer (ECO).
• Certificate in QEHS Internal Auditing (ISO9001, ISO14001 and OHSAS18001).
• Familiar with regulatory requirements related to workplace safety and health.

Responsibilities

• Review and revise the Safety Management System for continual improvement.
• Establish, upkeep and review Safe Work Procedures and Risk Assessments for main contractor, sub-contractors and suppliers based on 5x5 risk matrix.
• Conduct safety training based on Safe Work Procedures and Risk Assessments.
• Ensure risk assessments for all work activities are conducted and propose remedial actions.
