Job summary

TikTok is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer for the Recommendation Architecture team to optimize large-scale TikTok Recommendation System availability and performance. The role focuses on DevOps, automation, and collaboration with software engineers to ensure reliable, scalable services.

Ideal candidates have a strong background in distributed systems, Linux-based operations, and practical programming in Shell/Python/Perl/Go/C++. 3+ years of relevant experience is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
• Operation experience of large-scale systems, familiar with system operation skills on Linux and network.
• Good programming experience with at least one of Shell/Python/Perl/Go/C++.
• Expertise in analyzing, and troubleshooting large-scale distributed systems.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Reliability and operation optimization for large-scale TikTok Recommendation System.
• Continuous integration and delivery of core services, improving automation and stability.
• Cloud platformization and resource optimization for large-scale clusters.
• Collaborate with software engineers to design and implement DevOps solutions.
• Develop software solutions and perform testing and validation procedures.
• Work with hardware engineers to integrate hardware and software systems and define performance requirements.
