Job summary

Tencent Games is seeking a data platform engineer to maintain and optimize big data suites on overseas cloud platforms, oversee deployment monitoring, and build automation tools to boost deployment efficiency. The role emphasizes fault-tolerant architecture and disaster-recovery planning.

Ideal candidates have hands-on experience with Kubernetes, cloud services (GCP/AWS), and big data ecosystems (Hadoop, Kafka, Flink, Storm, NoSQL). Collaboration and continuous learning are valued in this team.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with the processing and maintenance of deployment and monitoring for various resource objects and applications, Kubernetes container clusters, etc.
• Familiar with mainstream public cloud service technologies (GCP/AWS) and related operations of cloud service product tools.
• Familiar with big data tools, Hadoop/Kafka/Flink/Storm/NoSQL DB, etc.
• Experience in automated operation and maintenance/monitoring tool development is strongly preferred.
• Proficient in more than one language (shell/python/GO, etc.).
• Has a passion for learning and functions well in a team.
