Job summary

Tencent is expanding its overseas IT team and seeks a data engineer in Singapore to own overseas gaming data platforms and data pipelines. You will model and analyze data warehouses for gaming data products and drive AI-native data engineering practices.

You will collaborate across teams to deliver scalable data solutions while leveraging modern big data tools and languages. This role offers the chance to shape Tencent's international gaming data strategy.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science or related technical field.
• Proficiency in at least one major programming language (Python/Java/Go) and SQL.
• Knowledge of data structures, OS, networking.
• Familiarity with relational and distributed databases.
• Experience with AI-related projects and big data tools (Spark/Flink/Kafka).

Who We Look For

• Solid programming foundation with in-depth knowledge of data structures, operating systems, and networking principles.
• Proficiency in at least one mainstream programming language (Python/Java/Go) and SQL.
• Familiarity with database principles and usage (including relational and distributed databases).
• AI-related project experience and familiarity with big data ecosystems (e.g., Spark / Flink / Kafka) are preferred.
• Self-driven with strong accountability and excellent communication skills.
