Job summary

ShopBack Group in Singapore invites credit-bearing interns for H1 2027 (Dec 2026/Jan 2027 to May/June 2027) to join the engineering team. The role focuses on reliability, scalable infrastructure, tooling, and collaboration with engineers.

Ideal candidates are final-year students or fresh graduates with strong fundamentals, experience with Docker, GitOps, Kubernetes, AWS, and programming languages such as Java, Python, or Go. A 6-month commitment is required, with potential AI tooling exposure.

Qualifications

• Fresh graduates or students pursuing Bachelor's degree program or above who are in 3rd or 4th year.
• Has excellent knowledge of Software Engineering fundamentals (Data Structure, Algorithms).
• Good understanding of networking, Docker, GitOps and Kubernetes.
• Experience with one or more programming languages (e.g., Java, C/C++, C#, Objective-C, Python, JavaScript, Go, etc.).
• Experience with scripting (e.g. Shell/Python)
• Experience with AWS, Postgres and Linux fundamentals.
• Is a self-starter, independent and communicative.
• AI Competency: Demonstrated use of AI tools (e.g. ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude) to develop new or improve workflows, enhance productivity, and drive efficiency at scale.
• Minimum commitment period of 6 months, full-time
