Job summary

OPZ seeks a Production Engineer to deliver a secure, reliable production environment for our global trading franchise, working with Linux, databases and APIs to ensure performance and stability.

You will collaborate with a cross-functional team, leverage container technologies, and contribute to deployment pipelines in a fast-paced crypto-trading setting with a modern tech stack.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 2–7 years’ experience in a similar role at a bank or proprietary trading firm.
• Experience in MySQL/MSSQL and Linux.
• Ability to understand and read API documentation; knowledge of WS, REST and FIX is a plus.
• Strong ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to analyse logs, metrics and system performance of applications.
• Exposure to container technology (Docker/Rancher) is a plus.

Skills

• At least 2 to 7 years’ experience in a similar role at a bank or proprietary trading firm.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant subject (e.g., Computer Science).
• Experience in MySQL/MSSQL and Linux.
• Ability to understand and read API documentation. Nice to have WS, REST and FIX.
• Ability to successfully manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.,
• Ability to analyse logs, and metrics and system performance of applications in general.
