OPZ in Singapore is seeking a Senior Back-end Developer to build high-performance software powering our trading services. You will create scalable APIs, services, and plugins, contributing to robust integration and product quality.

You will mentor peers through code reviews, tackle deployments and testing with TDD, and help us scale with microservices and Docker. The team values curiosity, collaboration, and a commitment to excellence in a fast-growing fintech environment.

Qualifications

3+ years of experience in back-end development.
Knowledge of information security and data protection.
Expertise in any modern programming languages.
Excellent spoken and written English communication skills.
Experience in Docker and familiarity with microservices and scalable systems; ability to produce high-quality, self-documenting code using TDD.

Responsibilities

Build and test scalable, low-latency applications, APIs, and plugins for customers, internal teams, and third-party developers.
Craft code that meets internal standards for style, maintainability, and best practices for high scalability.
Teach, mentor, and grow team members through code reviews or pair programming.
Troubleshoot applications during development and deployment.
Build automated unit and integration tests and perform code reviews to improve code quality.
Participate in deployment of new products and features by collaborating with other teams.
Make codebases consistent and maintainable.
