Site QC Manager - Your future position?

As the Site QC Manager, you would plan, organize, and oversee the implementation of Quality Control programs and provide assistance for the daily quality control operation and activities within a large manufacturing site.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategy design and execution: Implement tactical and operational quality control plans based on global QM strategy for QC.
2. EHS: Apply and enforce EHS guidelines, ensure team training, and conduct risk assessments.
3. QM Compliance: Ensure QC operations comply with global quality standards and maintain independence in decision-making.
4. Material Quality: Maintain standards for raw materials and products, oversee sensory assessments, and manage batch release decisions.
5. QC Expertise: Assign qualified personnel to QC roles and support their effectiveness.
6. Management of Material Non-Conformance: Provide leadership on material quality issues, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
7. Test Equipment & Methods: Ensure calibration, maintenance, and validation of testing equipment and methods.
8. Material Specifications: Maintain comprehensive and current material specifications and sampling procedures.
9. People Management: Oversee team capabilities, HR processes, and talent development.
10. QC Efficiency: Set and improve QC lead times, KPIs, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

Academic Background:

• Bachelor's in Chemistry, Biology, Environmental Science, or related; MSC preferred.

Professional Experience:

• 7+ years in a similar role, with experience in Sensory Evaluation and Analytical QC.
• 4-5 years of supervisory experience.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in English, laboratory systems, manufacturing quality systems, and product safety standards.
• Knowledge of sensory principles, data analysis, and labelling regulations.
