Site Manager

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Site Manager to join Tay Hao Paint Works Pte Ltd. In this vital position, you will oversee the daily operations of construction sites, ensuring that projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, comply with safety standards, and meet the required quality standards.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee the project's direction, ensuring client specifications and requirements are met, reviewing progress, and collaborating with quantity surveyors to monitor costs
• Supervise the day-to-day operation of the projects in alignment with the approved drawings and schedule
• Coordinate and manage site activities to meet daily work schedules, ensuring compliance with project standards
• Conduct safety inspections and ensure the construction site aligns with all safety standards
• Liaise with clients, suppliers, subcontractors, team members, and local authorities regarding project-related matters
• Participate in site meetings, internal discussions, and presentations
• Track and monitor site expenses, including labour, materials, and equipment usage
• Provide support in any other ad hoc duties as assigned from time to time

Requirement:

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
• At least 5 years’ site experience in the Construction industry
• Strong knowledge of Singapore's authority requirements, procedures, codes, and regulations
• Proficient in Microsoft Office & AutoCAD
• Excellent communication, leadership, and resourcefulness
• Independent, diligent, and highly motivated with good interpersonal skills
• Able to work in a fast-paced and busy environment
