Job summary

A leading construction firm in Singapore seeks a Site Manager to oversee daily operations and ensure timely project completion. The ideal candidate will have 6-7 years of experience in site management, particularly in construction, and hold a degree in Engineering or a related field. Proficiency in English is required, and knowledge of Chinese is beneficial for liaising with contractors.

Qualifications

• Min 6-7 years of experience in site management role preferably in Construction.
• Good command of English; ability to speak Chinese is a plus.

• Overall in charge of site coordination.
• Lead a team of operation staff in daily operations.
• Manage and oversee the day-to-day construction activities of the project.
• Monitor and control the general workers' deployment on-site.
• Ensure timely completion and good quality of works.

• Report to the Project Manager
• Overall in charge of site coordination.
• Lead a team of operation staff in daily operations.
• Manage and oversee the day-to-day construction activities of the project.
• Monitor and control the general workers' deployment on-site.
• Maintain site access throughout the construction period.
• Control and monitor work progress and resources.
• Monitor and control material wastage.
• In-depth understanding of project specifications, technical details, and construction drawings.
• Carry out work scheduling, material requisition planning, project coordination, and documentation.
• Ensure timely completion and good quality of works.
• Monitor Project's cost by taking proactive measures to prevent cost overruns.
• Other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Immediate Supervisor/ Management.

Requirements:

• Min 6-7 years of experience in site management role preferably in Construction
• Degree in Engineering or any construction related studies
• Have experience in Wet Trade
• Good command of English
• Will be good if can speak Chinese to liaise with other contractors
