Job summary

NEOARCH ENGINEERING PTE. LTD. is seeking a site coordination professional to oversee soil investigation, field testing, and geotechnical instrumentation works.

You will supervise operations, record soil data, and prepare borelogs with detailed test descriptions, ensuring adherence to specifications and safety standards. The role requires a geotechnical background, a minimum of 3 years local experience for senior level, and proficiency in MS Office and AutoCAD.

Qualifications

• Degree in Geology or Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years local experience for senior position.
• Certification course for Site Investigation for Supervisors.
• Class 3 Driving License is an advantage.
• Able to lead and work independently; proficient in MS Office and AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Supervise site operations and all field tests per specs and method statements.
• Supervise, check, evaluate and record soil data during investigations.
• Prepare field borelogs with test details and soil descriptions.
• Classify and analyze soil/rock samples; describe ground profile.
• Perform in-situ tests (e.g., pressure meter, permeability, SPT, CPT) and record results.
• Assist, support and supervise instrumentation works.
• Support safety personnel; prepare toolbox meetings and records.
• Attend site meetings as required.

Job description

Site coordination, arrangement and supervision for Soil Investigation, Field Testing, Geotechnical Instruments works

• Supervision of site operation and all other field tests and supervision works as per required specifications and method statements.
• Supervise, check, evaluate and record all soil data during soil investigation works and ensure quality work
• Preparation of field borelogs with details of tests and soil descriptions
• Classification and analysis of soil and rock samples and description of ground profile accordingly
• Carry out In-Situ testing such as pressure meter test, permeability tests, packer test, vane shear test etc. UD sampling (Thin wall, Mazier and Piston), perform SPT, CPT etc and record test results
• Assist, support and supervise in instrumentation works
• Assist safety personnel to ensure works are carried out in a safe manner (e.g. Prepare the tool box meeting schedules, maintenance records for site works)
• Attend site meetings when required

Requirement:

• Degree in Geology / Civil Engineering
• Minimum 3 years of relevant Local experience for Senior Position
• Possess and attended Certification Course for Site Investigation for Supervisors
• Class 3 Driving License will be an advantage
• Able to lead and work independently
