Job summary

COPPERCO TALENT SERVICES PTE. LTD. is seeking a Civil Engineer to supervise site teams and ensure compliance with quality procedures and workmanship standards on a live project in Singapore. You will coordinate with subcontractors, vendors and consultants to keep works progressing safely and to spec.

The role requires a degree in Civil Engineering and hands-on problem solving to address drawing discrepancies, plan activities, minimize waste, and maintain high safety and quality across the site.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and supervise supervisors and workers to ensure compliance with quality procedures and workmanship standards on site
• Inspect and verify quality and quantity of subcontractors’ work to maintain project standards
• Resolve drawing discrepancies and technical issues by collaborating with the Technical team
• Prepare detailed method statements and work instructions to guide construction activities
• Coordinate site activities with SWC, subcontractors, vendors, and internal departments to ensure smooth operations
• Liaise with Consultants and the Technical Department on submissions related to structural works
• Plan site works including scheduling programs, construction methods, and forecasting equipment, material, and manpower needs
• Control usage and minimize wastage of resources on site
• Identify potential and actual problems affecting work schedules and recommend effective solutions to relevant teams
• Ensure site works meet high-quality standards and comply with safety requirements throughout the project
