Job summary

A leading construction firm in Singapore is seeking a candidate for a supervisory role in building construction. Key responsibilities include coordinating construction work on site, ensuring compliance with LTA regulations, and managing technical and engineering challenges. The ideal applicant will have at least 5 years of relevant experience, strong leadership and communication skills, and a robust understanding of construction methods and regulations.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years relevant experience in supervision of architectural works in building construction.
  • Well-versed in Construction Method Statements.
  • Experience in evaluating subcontractors’ risk assessments and safe work procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and control construction works on site.
  • Ensure progress of work is within budget & timelines as well as quality & safety objectives.
  • Conduct safety inspections of the site during construction work.

Job description
Duties and Responsibility
  • LTA A&A Experience (Must)
  • Minimum 5 years relevant experience in supervision of architectural works in building construction
  • Handle technical and engineering problems
  • Plan and execute work schedule based on contract schedule
  • Coordinate and control construction works on site
  • Evaluate subcontractors’ risk assessment, safe work procedures and method statements
  • Review subcontractors/supplier performance after completion works
  • Well-versed in Construction Method Statements
  • Manage Piling, Excavation, ERSS, RC, and Architecture work
  • Preparing the site and liaising with other construction professionals before construction work starts
  • Developing the program of work and strategy for making the project happen
  • Planning ahead to prevent problems on site before they occur, planning the delivery and storage of equipment and materials
  • Making safety inspections of the site when work is underway and ensuring regulations relating to health, safety, and the environment are adhered to
  • Ensure progress of work is within budget & timelines as well as quality & safety objectives
  • Well-versed in construction sequence, principles and LTA regulatory requirements
  • Good leadership skills
