LEONG SIEW WENG ENGINEERING PTE LTD is seeking a Civil/Structural Engineer to coordinate and oversee structural works from foundation to TOP on-site in Singapore. You will review drawings, method statements, and monitor progress, coordinating with consultants, clients, subcontractors, and authorities to ensure compliance and timely delivery.

The role requires a degree in Civil and Structural Engineering with 3–5 years of relevant construction experience, strong communication and problem-solving

• Strong communication, coordination and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently in a fast-paced project environment.
• Mandarin proficiency is advantageous.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate and oversee structural construction works from foundation to Taking-Over (TOP).
• Review structural drawings, construction details and method statements for compliance.
• Monitor site progress, manpower deployment and resource utilization to meet schedule.
• Coordinate with consultants, clients, subcontractors and authorities on technical matters.
• Prepare and manage technical submissions, progress reports and docs.
• Address RFIs, NCRs and corrective actions for timely resolution.
• Supervise subcontractors to ensure quality and productivity.
• Ensure works comply with drawings, specs, quality standards and regs.
• Assist in project planning, scheduling and coordination to milestones.
• Carry out any other duties as assigned by Management.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee structural construction works from foundation stage through to Taking-Over (TOP).
• Review structural drawings, construction details, and method statements to ensure compliance with project specifications and requirements.
• Monitor site progress, manpower deployment, and resource utilization to ensure works are completed according to schedule.
• Coordinate and liaise with consultants, clients, subcontractors, and relevant authorities on technical and construction matters.
• Prepare and manage technical submissions, progress reports, and other project-related documentation.
• Monitor and follow up on Requests for Information (RFIs), Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), and corrective actions to ensure timely resolution.
• Supervise and coordinate subcontractors to ensure work quality, productivity, and compliance with project requirements.
• Ensure all structural works comply with approved drawings, design specifications, quality standards, and relevant regulatory requirements.
• Assist in project planning, scheduling, and coordination to achieve project milestones and deadlines.
• Carry out any other duties as assigned by the Management.

Job Requirements

• Degree in Civil and Structural Engineering or an equivalent relevant qualification.
• Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in construction projects, preferably with exposure to structural works.
• Good technical knowledge of structural construction methods, site coordination, and project execution.
• Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently and effectively in a fast-paced project environment.
• Ability to communicate in Mandarin (both spoken and written) will be an added advantage.
