Job summary

RICH CONSTRUCTION COMPANY PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a Civil Engineer to support project managers on technical matters. Responsibilities include coordinating site activities, preparing samples and drawings, and liaising with consultants and authorities to ensure compliance.

The candidate should have a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent), a postgraduate diploma in civil engineering, and at least 2 years of relevant experience, with a strong independent work ethic and teamwork mindset.

Responsibilities

• Assist the project manager with on- and off-site meetings addressing technical issues.
• Submit architectural samples, shop drawings and related documents to consultants or authorities.
• Coordinate and monitor site progress, perform periodic inspections and attend construction meetings.
• Demonstrate problem solving and ensure progress according to the work schedule.
• Supervise site activities and coordinate with subcontractors, RE and RTO.

Job description

Responsibilities:

• Assist the project manager with on and off site meeting pertaining to the technical issues
• Responsible for submission of Architectural samples, shops drawing and other related documents to the consultants or authorities
• Coordinate and monitor work progress at site including periodical site inspection and attending meetings during course of construction of project
• Proven problem solving and achievements work progress according to the work schedule
• Site supervision and able to coordinate well with sub-contractors, RE and RTO

Requirements:

• Candidate must at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma in Civil Engineering or quivalent
• Min 2 year relevant experience in the related field for this position
• Be able to work independently with minimum guidance
• Good team player, keen desire to learn, contribute, advance and progress with the company
