About the role
ORIENT NATURAL RESOURCES PTE LTD' is seeking a skilled and experienced Site Coordinator to join our team. This position will play a crucial role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of our site. As the Site Coordinator, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient running of our operations, while also serving as a key point of contact between management and on-site personnel.
What you'll be doing
Coordinating and supervising the work of the site team which includes truck drivers, wheel loader/excavator operator and general workers
Monitoring and maintaining site safety, security, and environmental standards
Liaising with clients, suppliers, and other stakeholders to address any issues or concerns
Reporting on site progress, productivity, and any incidents or accidents to management
Ensure that site have sufficient goods for delivery and coordinate with relevant team to arrange for re-stock.
Coordinate with our company and outside truck teams and ensure all company goods are promptly delivered.
Assessing truck repairs and maintenance needed for trucks and equipment (wheel loader / excavator)
Require to go on-board Mother vessels / barges to inspect goods before discharging and handles other port matters as per requirement
Coordinate with personnel involved with vessel / barge shipments coming in port.
What we're looking for
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a similar site coordination or supervisory role within the construction, transport, or logistics industries
Ability to think strategically and adapt to changing circumstances
Thorough understanding of site safety, security, and environmental regulations and best practices
A collaborative and team-oriented approach, with a commitment to developing and supporting the site team
Willing to accept working outdoors and variable working hours depending of shipments coming in.
