Job summary

Global Switch (Property) Singapore Pte Limited is seeking a hands-on Construction Manager to own the delivery of complex capital projects at site level, aligning with group standards and objectives. You will lead end-to-end builds, expansions and upgrades, coordinating with engineering, connectivity and operations teams to ensure integrated execution.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience managing large, multi-disciplinary projects with M&E dependencies.
• Lead end-to-end procurement strategies, tendering, contract negotiation and onboarding.
• Proven contractor performance management with KPIs and escalation protocols.
• Develop comprehensive project plans, schedules and resource allocation using industry tools.
• Produce timely reports for senior leadership including forecasts and dashboards.
• Strong knowledge of building systems and M&E installations for proactive problem solving.
• Experience driving process optimisation and continuous improvement across projects.
• Demonstrated leadership to inspire and manage site teams in dynamic environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead all site-based construction activities and ensure delivery to scope, budget and schedule.
• Oversee contractor mobilisation and procurement processes for efficiency and compliance.
• Implement robust safety management procedures across all phases of delivery.
• Collaborate with engineering and operations to integrate M&E and connectivity requirements.
• Maintain accurate site reporting including daily logs and risk registers for leadership visibility.
• Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, codes and internal governance.
• Monitor contractor performance against standards and enforce contractual obligations.
• Act as liaison with Group Directors, Sales and Operations for customer discussions and handovers.
• Manage project close-out and handover with comprehensive documentation.
