Job Summary:
The Site Administrator plays a key role in supporting the smooth day-to-day operations of a construction site. This position is responsible for managing documentation, coordinating site communications, handling administrative tasks, and ensuring compliance with health, safety, and project regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Site Administration & Documentation:
Maintain and manage site documentation, including timesheets, delivery dockets, material logs, and subcontractor records.
Assist with preparation and submission of daily, weekly, and monthly site reports.
Organize and maintain site files (physical and digital) to ensure easy access and regulatory compliance. - Communication & Coordination:
Serve as the first point of contact for internal teams, contractors, suppliers, and visitors.
Coordinate site meetings, prepare agendas, take minutes, and distribute notes.
Liaise with head office departments including HR, payroll, and procurement. - Health, Safety & Compliance:
Assist with maintaining records of permits, safety audits, toolbox talks, and incident reports. - Logistics & Procurement Support:
Assist in tracking inventory and raising purchase orders as needed.
Work with the procurement team to ensure timely availability of required resources.
Qualifications and Skills :
- Some experience in an administrative role; experience in construction is a bonus. ( Preferred but not required)
- Basic organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Able to communicate clearly and professionally, both in writing and speaking.
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- General awareness of construction site safety is a plus. (Preferred but not required)
