Job summary

Virtusa is seeking an experienced Full Stack Engineer to work on a public sector project. The role focuses on building scalable, high-availability web applications using React/Next.js on the frontend and Java/Spring Boot on the backend, with modern microservices architecture. Relocation and on-site work are offered.

The ideal candidate has a strong track record in full-stack development, cloud platforms, containerization, and automated testing, and will join a collaborative team in Singapore.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent
• Experience with large, high-availability software systems at scale
• Strong full-stack skills: Next.js/React on frontend and Java/Spring Boot on backend
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB)
• Cloud experience (AWS preferred, Azure or GCP acceptable)
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI)
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
• Proficient in writing unit and integration tests

We are looking for experienced team players to fill the position of Full Stack Engineer (React / Java / Spring Boot) and participate in our up-and-coming project for our client from the public Sector.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• Experience working on reasonably large, high-availability software systems that have operated at scale
• Experience in modern full-stack web application technologies; experience in modern front-end engineering on Next.Js/React.js and Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, Kotlin (Advantageous )on the backend is preferred
• Experience working with SQL & NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS (preferred), Azure and/or GCP
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, etc.)
• Exposure to Docker, Kubernetes or other container orchestration tools
• Proficient in writing comprehensive unit and integration tests
