As a Singapore TD (Technology Development) Facilities Coordinator Principal Engineer at Micron, you will be responsible to provide Facilities support for NAND TD enablement in F10 with focus on providing fast, accurate, effective, and safe facilitation of FOAK WS and materials. Additionally, the role is to enable cost efficiency for the capacity tools and support safe and cost-effective NAND HVM facilitation.

Provide Technical Support, Leadership, and Expertise

  • Provide consultation and support to TD Equipment Development team as the Technical Field Domain Expert.
  • Collaborate with TD Equipment Development team vendors when applicable and Site Facilities/Global EHS/PSM for support of FOAK workstations, processes, and materials. This includes reviewing all materials for facilitation, safety, and environmental requirements and initiating FRD for material system delivery alignment.
  • Analyze system designs to identify improvements that will result in better performance, efficiency gains, reduced maintenance, and cost savings in TI/BB/PAC costs
  • Review all tool information for facilitation requirements and work with EDE/Vendor to generate complete and accurate (TSR) Tool Service Requirement and Facilities/Doc4 documentation population/sign-off.
  • Lead optimization of UTR (Utility Trade Ratio) and Materials NoN (Node on Node) Trade Ratios.
  • Benchmark within and external to Micron sites on Engineering Best Practices and Best-Known Methods (BKM) of Facilities systems

Provide Design and Project Support, Leadership, and Expertise

  • Ensure that project scope meets customer and requestor needs
  • Ensure appropriate communication and collaboration with Equipment, Facilities, Procurement and Manufacturing stakeholders, to deliver project objectives and results.
  • Perform timely review of design packages and provide documented comments and feedback as necessary. Ensure designs in compliance with all standards, codes, and regulations
  • Monitor progress and provide Engineering and Design support in Equipment setup projects
  • Provide support for project cost and schedule estimates and justification for approval
  • Provide supervision and coordination of consultant resources
  • Review capacity planning databases and system operating trends and validating utilization and diversity factor assumptions
  • Participation and/or lead capacity and scenario planning including evaluation of facilitation system and distribution capacity impacts based on scenario changes
  • Review and advice on scope, schedule, and cost estimates for Facilities infrastructure additions or modifications

Provide Global Initiatives Program Support, Leadership, and Expertise

  • Support Global Facilities Programs & Initiatives, including establishing and defining the program objectives, roadmaps, and high-level implementation plan and cross-sites alignment
  • Support the Global Facilities Sustainability Programs in support of Micron’s Corporate Sustainability goals and initiatives

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or relevant Engineer Field required
  • Minimum 20-years' experience in Semiconductor and/or Facilities related industry
  • Technical expertise, knowledge, and experience on Facilities and Semiconductor Mechanical and Process Systems including Cleanroom HVAC, Chilled Water, Heating Water, Makeup Air, Recirculation Air, Process Cooling Water, Process Exhaust, Compressed Air, Process Vacuum, General HVAC, etc.
  • Ability to prioritize and schedule workload and work on multiple tasks concurrently
  • Good organizational skills and Service demeanor.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and good team working skills, English Required
  • Self-motivated worker
  • Familiarity with Semiconductor Manufacturing and Facilities systems
