The Supply Chain Executive conducts and transacts customer service and logistics processes for the supply of products inbound to the LOC and outbound to its first trade customers to achieve optimal customer service levels and maximize the On-Time-In-Full KPI, thereby supporting the commercial ambition. This role includes sales order entry/management and invoice processing with first trade customers and, in some businesses, extends to managing collaborative relationships with individual wholesalers and retailers. The Supply Chain Executive works with their peers in the local customs clearance LSP(s) and repacker(s). The role involves initiating and supporting processes to manage supply chain events and changes, such as supplying batch-level data for stock-at-risk identification and physical destruction of products following write-offs.

Key Responsibilities

This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities as follows:

  1. Execute outbound customer service and order management to first trade customers, including order placement, invoicing, and handling customer complaints.
  2. Ensure the integrity of material master and customer data within local systems used for logistics movements and order/invoice processing.
  3. Inform distributors/customers and LSPs of planned inbound supply and notify them of stock shortages or stock-outs that could impact supply.
  4. Generate or identify stock-at-risk due to shelf-life or saleable date expiration; manage product returns accordingly.
  5. Liaise between regional and local supply chain planning teams and the LOC to implement actions on stock-at-risk, including write-offs.
  6. Manage local processes and coordinate with LSPs, GSK Regulatory, and local authorities for logistics activities like pack changes, discontinuations, new product importation, samples, and clinical trial deliveries.
  7. Initiate internal processes to flag missing, out-of-spec, or damaged inbound stock and support investigations.
  8. Coordinate with pharma logistics to ensure complete documentation for inbound product flow.
  9. Manage subcontract packing activities, schedule packing, and ensure inventory visibility during the process.
  10. Execute logistics activities in compliance with GSK quality and EHS standards.
