HSBC Holdings plc in Singapore is seeking a senior in-country leader for Risk and Compliance Assurance. The role provides independent, risk-based assurance over controls managing Regulatory Compliance (RC), Financial Crime (FC) and Resilience risks across Singapore businesses and entities.

It leads delivery of the global assurance framework in line with RMF and local requirements. The successful candidate will build strong stakeholder relationships, develop and execute the Singapore assurance

Qualifications

• Extensive senior-level experience in risk, compliance, audit or assurance within a financial-services organisation.
• Strong knowledge of Singapore’s regulatory environment for financial institutions.
• Ability to lead a country portfolio and engage senior stakeholders.
• Fluent English with strong communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Own and execute the Singapore risk and compliance assurance strategy and plan.
• Represent in-country and maintain independence; apply standards and procedures.
• Provide clear conclusions on control design and operating effectiveness.
• Escalate material deficiencies and risks through governance channels.
• Coordinate with Internal Audit and other assurance providers to optimise coverage.
• Deliver outputs with high quality and timely reporting.
