## Position: Southeast Asia Finance Manager

### Job Description
We are looking for a detail-oriented and strategic-minded Finance Manager to oversee our financial operations in Southeast Asia. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in shaping the financial foundation of our new project. This role involves financial planning, budgeting, reporting, and compliance, as well as managing the regional finance team and optimizing financial processes to support our rapid growth.
### Key Responsibilities
- **Financial Planning and Analysis**: Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the company's regional and global goals. Conduct thorough financial analysis to support decision-making, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- **Team Management**: Lead and mentor a high-performing finance team, ensuring effective communication, training, and career development. Foster a collaborative and results-driven work environment.
- **Compliance and Reporting**: Ensure compliance with local and international financial regulations, including tax laws and accounting standards. Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial reports for both internal and external stakeholders.
- **Process Improvement**: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance financial efficiency and accuracy. Drive the adoption of best practices in financial management and reporting.
- **Risk Management**: Assess and mitigate financial risks, providing proactive recommendations to senior management. Monitor key financial indicators and trends to ensure the company's financial health.
- **Cross-Functional Collaboration**: Work closely with other departments, such as operations, sales, and marketing, to provide financial insights and support strategic initiatives. Represent the finance team in regional and global meetings, sharing financial data and recommendations.
- **Budget Management**: Develop and manage regional budgets, ensuring alignment with business objectives. Monitor budget performance and provide regular updates to senior leadership.
### Requirements
- **Experience**: At least 5 years of experience in finance, with a strong background in financial planning, budgeting, and reporting. Previous experience in managing a finance team is preferred.
- **Knowledge**: In-depth understanding of financial principles, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements in Southeast Asia. Familiarity with financial software and tools, such as ERP systems and Excel.
- **Skills**: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on data-driven decision-making. Excellent leadership and communication skills, both written and verbal. Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
- **Certifications**: Professional certifications such as CPA, CA, or CFA are highly desirable.
- **Language**: Fluency in English and at least one major Southeast Asian language (e.g., Mandarin, Malay, or Bahasa Indonesia) is preferred. Strong communication skills are essential.
- **Location**: Willingness to be based in Singapore or Malaysia, with the ability to travel within the region as needed.
