Job summary

Maybell Quantum is seeking a General Manager, Singapore to stand up its first operations facility in Singapore. This builder’s role includes site selection, lease, build-out, and commissioning of the facility, plus recruiting and leading the local team and establishing regional supplier relationships.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of operations or general management experience in hardware, deep tech, semiconductor, or complex electronics manufacturing.
• Demonstrated experience standing up a new site, plant, or country operation from scratch, including facility build-out, hiring, and process qualification.
• Deep knowledge of Singapore and broader APAC operating environment, including local hiring practices and regulatory requirements.
• Direct, hands-on experience across production, quality, and supply chain functions, with ability to lead all three before dedicated leaders are in place.

Responsibilities

• Own site standup and ongoing performance across four workstreams: facility standup, operations, transfer capability, and P&L management.
• Hire and build the Singapore team across production, quality, supply chain, facilities, and administration.
• Establish region-wide logistics, suppliers, and local partnerships in alignment with global sourcing strategy.
• Ensure regulatory compliance, licenses, and risk management for a new Singapore entity.
