Job description

OVERALL JOB PURPOSE

Drive revenue growth by developing and executing strategic sales strategies, while managing day to day activities that support the attraction’s business objectives.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Identify and acquire new business opportunities, fostering long-term relationships with travel trade, domestic groups, and corporate clients
  • Develop tailored proposals that align with client needs while ensuring profitability in accordance with operational guidelines
  • Recommend, plan, and implement sales initiatives to drive visitation and meet revenue growth
  • Serve as the primary client liaison during site inspections, event planning and execution, ensuring an exceptional guest experience and high satisfaction.
  • Coordinate and oversee event and catering logistics in collaboration with Operations and F&B teams to ensure smooth execution
  • Work closely with the Marketing team to continuously refine and enhance products and service offerings
  • Represent the attraction at trade shows, key industry gatherings and networking events to expand business networks
  • Support the annual budgeting and forecasting process, contributing insights on sales, gross profit, and expenditure
  • Maintain and regularly update standard operating procedures related to booking and sales workflows
  • Perform any other duties assigned by Management in support to business goals

QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree
  • Relevant experience in tourism, attractions, hospitality, or the MICE industry may substitute for formal qualifications.
  • Minimum three to five years of experience in corporate sales, business development, or a related field.
  • Candidates with more extensive experience may be considered for a Managerial position.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong interpersonal and networking skills, with the ability to influence both internal and external stakeholders effectively
  • Self-motivated, goal driven and results oriented with a strong ability to meet sales targets
  • Flexibility to work outside regular weekday business hours (Monday to Friday) when required.
