THE ROLE: Short form Content Creator (for TikTok, IG, Shorts)
We want to create content people want to see, share, and engage with. Moving fast and creating quickly is essential. We need passionate content creators who want to thrive in this space.
We're looking for creators who live and breathe TikTok, Instagram Reels, and other short-form platforms—those who instinctively understand trends, viral moments, and storytelling in bite-sized formats. Experience with long-form content is a plus, but your heart should be in the fast-moving world of short, thumb-stopping creativity. Understanding why videos and creators go viral or gain traction and applying this knowledge is essential.
Who You Are:
- Passionate about pets and pet ownership, knowing that every pet is becoming a family member.
- Obsessed with Pettok, Brandtok, pet brand content; understands pet terminology and the best ways to connect with pet owners (cats and dogs) and not shy in front of the camera.
- Understands what dog & cat owners want and need.
- Able to perform solo, learn from data analysts and strategists to formulate ideas.
- Active creator and consumer of TikTok, Instagram Reels, and social media content daily.
- A master of motion design and video editing—you can make anything move and grab attention in seconds.
- Fluent in content creation tools: Adobe Premiere, After Effects, Creative Suite, Canva, TikTok native tools, Instagram editing, etc.
- Adaptable and fast-paced—you thrive in a high-energy, ever-evolving digital landscape.
- Passionate about creating content that resonates—you know what works and why.
- A natural team player who's cool under pressure and loves collaborating.
What You'll Do:
- Create high-quality, engaging short-form content across TikTok, Instagram Reels, and other platforms.
- Edit and adapt branded content into multiple formats optimized for different audiences.
- Jump on trends quickly—transform trending moments into brand-relevant, viral-worthy content.
- Work with diverse media assets—video, photography, GIFs, stories, captions, and interactive elements.
- Brainstorm and collaborate with our creative and strategy teams to bring innovative content ideas to life.
- Move quickly—capture trends, iterate based on performance, and refine content on the fly.
- Analyze data—use dashboards and visualizations to understand why certain videos perform better.
- Work with influencers—potentially seek out collaborations with pet influencers on content creation.
