Team Supervision & Leadership
Supervise and guide team members within your section, ensuring efficient daily operations
Work closely with the Shop Supervisor / Shop Manager to align section goals with overall store targets
Motivate and develop staff by providing ongoing training, feedback, and performance assessments
Monitor and Support Team Performance
Support the Shop Supervisor / Shop Manager in tracking team performance, ensuring that goals are met and individual development needs are addressed
Help maintain a positive work environment by motivating and recognizing team members' achievements
Offer problem-solving assistance when needed to ensure smooth operations and overcome any team-related challenges
Customer Service Excellence
Ensure the highest standard of customer service by engaging with customers and addressing their needs
Resolve customer complaints or issues promptly, ensuring a positive experience
Lead by example to create a customer-first environment and encourage team members to go above and beyond
Sales & Performance Management
Achieve section sales targets by promoting products, encouraging upselling, and providing excellent product knowledge
Monitor sales performance and work with the Shop Supervisor / Shop Manager to implement strategies to meet KPIs
Ensure that team members are fully aware of sales goals and work together to exceed expectations
Inventory Management
Ensure that the section is well-stocked and inventory levels are maintained to meet customer demand
Perform regular inventory checks and coordinate with the Shop Supervisor / Shop Manager to manage stock replenishment
Assist with the ordering process to avoid stockouts or overstocking
Store Operation & Safety
Assist with store opening and closing procedures, including cash handling and security protocols
Ensure the section is clean, organized, and adheres to health and safety regulations
Collaborate with the Shop Supervisor / Shop Manager to ensure smooth store operations
At least 2 years in a supervisory role within the retail industry, preferably in a customer-facing environment
Proven track record of meeting sales targets and KPIs
Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff
Exceptional customer service skills and a passion for customer satisfaction
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills, good in decision-making skills
Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge of inventory management and store operations
Ability to handle cash and other financial transactions accurately
Self-motivated, proactive, and results-driven with a positive attitude
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently and as part of a team
