A leading company in the logistics industry is seeking a Sales Executive (Ocean) based in Singapore. The role includes sourcing new accounts, maintaining existing business, and developing niche markets. Candidates should have a diploma and significant experience in freight forwarding, with a focus on customer relations and sales strategies.

Sales Executive (Ocean)
Responsibilities:
· Aggressively source and secure New Accounts (Customers)
· Ensure continued profitability of all Accounts
· Ensure Nil Discrepancies in Rates and Charges quoted
· Maintain good working relationship with Accounts for New Opportunities
· Develop New Niche Businesses or Markets either Locally or Overseas
· Communicate all service requirements effectively to all departments and offices
· Monitor and ensure prompt payments from all Accounts
· Maintain the existing business and expand more business from existing client
· Conducting market research to identify selling possibilities and evaluate customer needs
· Actively seeking out new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking and social media
· Setting up meetings with potential clients and listening to their wishes and concerns
Requirements:
· Diploma Holder
· More than 3 - 5 years’ experience in Freight Forwarding (Air / Ocean) & Logistics industry.
· Thorough understanding of marketing and negotiating techniques
· Those with strong Ocean Freight Sales will be an added advantage / preferred
· Must be aggressive and focused in seeking Japanese / Other Customer
· Be results driven to increase Customer Base and also Sales Revenue
· Good communication (verbal / written) and interpersonal skills
· Those with own vehicle (and / or Class 3 licence) will be preferred
· Japanese speaking Candidates who can converse effectively with our Current and Prospective Customers, have too an added advantage.
