Job description

Join a well-established global logistics MNC with a strong global presence and a dynamic work environment

  • Sea Export Officer – Basic $2200 to $2800

  • Sea Import Executive – Basic $3000 to $4000

  • AWS + Bonus + Yearly increment

  • Monday to Friday, 8.15am - 5.30pm

  • Location : Jurong East

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and manage sea import/export shipments

  • Prepare and verify shipping documents (e.g. HB/L, MBL, manifest, pre-alerts), customs declarations, and TradeNet submissions.

  • Ensure compliance with Workplace Safety & Health procedures

  • Liaise with customers, shipping lines, transport teams, trucking partners, and overseas offices to ensure smooth operations

  • Coordinate with warehouse, carriers, depots, trucking, insurance, and customs agents to meet shipment requirements.

  • Handle vendor billing, verify costs, close shipment files, and maintain documentation

  • Follow up on cargo discrepancies, damages, or shortlanded items with warehouse/overseas offices

Requirements:

  • Min. Diploma, preferably with knowledge in freight forwarding and import/export documentation and procedures.

  • Experience with permit declaration processes (e.g., TradeNet) is an advantage.

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Willingness to work overtime if required.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.

  • Strong analytical skills, proactive attitude, and a team-oriented mindset.
