Qualifications

  • Minimum O Level, Diploma in Supply Chain Management or relevant experience.
  • 2-3 years of relevant experience, handling Dangerous Goods is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of import/export regulations and customs.

Responsibilities

  • Negotiate freight charges and establish shipping schedules.
  • Liaise with supply chain team for timely shipments.
  • Prepare shipping documentation for L/C processing.
  • Verify freight invoices and ensure timely payment processing.

Job description

$3000 - $3200 (Depends on experience) + AWS +VB

8.15am - 5.30pm (Mon – Fri)

Work Location: Gul Circle – Company Transport Provided

Your Role, Your Influence:

  • Negotiate freight charges for all shipments.

  • Establish and maintain the shipping schedule.

  • Liaise with the supply chain team and forwarders to ensure shipments are executed on time.

  • Prepare shipping documentation in line with L/C (Letter of Credit) terms and present them to the bank for processing.

  • Keep customers updated on the status of shipments and resolve any queries related to shipment tracking and logistics.

  • Verify the accuracy of invoices from freight forwarders and ensure timely payment processing.

  • Provide freight cost details and support to the sales team.

  • Manage and maintain shipping-related correspondence and documentation

  • Any ad-hoc duties as assigned

Requirement:

  • Min O Level, Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or relevant work experience

  • 2-3 years of relevant work experience, with experience in handling Dangerous Goods (DG) being an advantage

  • Strong understanding of import/export regulations and customs procedures.
