Job summary

Satair Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking an entry-level Shipping Clerk to ensure accurate booking and timely dispatch of customer orders. You will manage invoices and shipping documents, arrange shipments per policy and customer instructions, and liaise with freight forwarders across ERP systems to support multiple business units.

This role requires basic education (Higher Nitec or Diploma), willingness to work in shifts, strong communication, and knowledge of freight forwarding and Incoterms.

Qualifications

• Higher Nitec or Diploma qualification.
• Able to work in different shift patterns.
• Proficient in written and verbal communication.
• Proficient in Google software applications.
• Experienced with ERP systems, preferably SAP.
• Good knowledge of freight forwarding, transport/shipping and Incoterms.
• Knowledge of dangerous goods preferred.
• Able to multi-task and work in a diverse team with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Book shipments for customers' orders.
• Issue invoices and shipping documents.
• Arrange shipments per Satair's policies or customers' instructions.
• Submit shipping details to customers.
• Update Satair's shipping database with customers' shipping instructions.
• Inform stakeholders about deviations to transport/shipping agreements.
• Maintain records of all relevant documents.
• Perform shipment booking according to order priority.
• Control and booking of freight invoices.
• Release shipments to forwarders correctly.
• Pass DG course and perform DG declarations for outbound shipments.
