Job summary

A leading logistics company in Singapore is seeking candidates for a role focused on managing shipping and transportation documentation. The successful candidate will oversee daily schedules, coordinate import/export shipments, and ensure compliance with regulations while upholding company values. Candidates should have prior experience in freight management and be proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

Qualifications

  • Min 1-2 years of experience in handling shipping/transportation documentation.
  • Experience in managing Air and Ocean freight shipments is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee team activities, track performance, and report progress.
  • Update and communicate on daily transportation schedules.
  • Implement and improve Transportation Management System features.
  • Prepare and submit accurate billing and invoices.
  • Coordinate shipments, liaise with freight partners, and ensure timely delivery.

Primary Responsibilities

• Team Collaboration and Progress Monitoring

- Oversee team activities, track performance, and report progress.

• Daily jobs receives and Scheduling Management

- Update and communicate on daily transportation schedules.

• TMS Optimization:

- Implement and improve Transportation Management System features.

• Monthly Billing and Invoicing:

- Prepare and submit accurate billing and invoices.

• Company Culture and Goals:

- Uphold company values and track goal progress.

• Shipment Coordination:

- Arranging import/export shipments and coordinating with freight partners and customers.

- Liaise with air/sea freight co-loaders, shipping lines, and transporters to ensure timely delivery of customer's shipments to/fro various destinations.

• Documentation Processing:

- Handle import/export documentation and ensure compliance.

- Process import/export shipping documentation (Delivery Order, Arrival Notice, Bill of Lading, Permits etc.)

- Other shipping documentation-related responsibilities.

• Administrative Duties:

- Perform billing, cost analysis, and payment follow-up tasks.

- Basic admin duties such as billing, costings, and payment follow-up.

Qualifications Summary

Experience:

• Min 1-2 years of experience in handling shipping/Transportation documentation.

• Experience in managing Air and Ocean freight shipments is preferred

Education:

• Minimum Qualification: GCE O

Skills:

• Technical Skill Requirements

- Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications

Working hours:

Mon to Fri, 8:30am to 6pm
