A forward-thinking company is seeking a Shipping Coordinator to manage daily order processing and ensure timely shipments. In this role, you will liaise with both internal teams and external partners to fulfill customer requests efficiently. You will be responsible for managing orders through systems like SAP and WMS, ensuring compliance with safety protocols, and maintaining excellent customer relationships. Shipping Coordinator
· Managing and checking on daily order send via email or EDI by the customer.
· Manage and create the order and generate the pick slip from WMS or perform system transactions in customer’s system (SAP, Oracle, etc.).
· Ensure all the orders are shipped on time and transactions are being done correctly to meet the KPI.
· Ensure all orders are handed over to the warehouse for pick and pack.
· Liaise with internal teams (e.g., warehouse and traffic teams) to ship the orders out on time.
· Liaise with external teams (e.g., forwarders, couriers).
· Perform daily shipment booking with the forwarders and prepare the AWB in courier services’ system.
· Ensure the information printed on the AWBs is declared correctly (Shipper, Ship to, Value, Bill to account, Inco term, etc.).
· Ensure the permits are booked timely and correctly.
· Follow up on internal and external customer requests promptly to ensure all the orders are shipped on time.
· Maintain a good relationship with the customer.
· Prepare the necessary reports (daily activity, receiving, and shipping) to be submitted to the customer as per requirement.
· Maintain general cleanliness of the warehouse – 5S, Safety, and Security.
· Ensure all necessary transactions are performed timely and accurately for incoming and outgoing shipments, documentation, and transactions (e.g., WMS, SAP) when required.
· Report to Leader/Supervisor if any issues are encountered.
· Any other responsibilities assigned by the Superior.
REQUIREMENT:
· Candidate must possess a minimum of Secondary Education and above.
· Required language(s): English – Read and written.
· At least 1 to 2 years of working experience in the related field is required. For no experience, will be considered as contract staff – Grade 1 (in-house training will be provided).
· Hardworking and independent.
· Team player and able to multi-task.
· Able to commit to a 5.5-day workweek.
· Able to work OT when required.
· Prior SAP experience preferred.
· Compliance with the safety and security protocol/SOP of Omni All In (Singapore) Pte. Ltd. at all times.
· Operating of Material Handling Equipment (MHE) and ESD equipment if required.
· Computer Literate – Proficiency in Microsoft Office (e.g., Excel, etc.).
· Familiarity with WMS, SAP, ORACLE.
