Shipping Coordinator

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Follow up with warehouse on packing for customer orders ensuring packing are done correctly and quickly.
• Ensure packing lists are submitted in a timely manner for shipment.
• Handles inquiry on packing and freight and to provide quotation.
• Review on acceptable packing to work on packing sizes or containers required.
• Review on acceptable shipping method and quote for the shipping cost.
• Manage inventory at Singapore 3rd party warehouse in relation to plan stocking & ordering.
• Coordinate receiving and issuing.
• Check inventory movement.
• Coordinate and follow up on transport from Malaysia to Singapore customers, air or sea shipment via Singapore. Ensure trucks leave on schedule and arrived at the required time.
• Resolve any issues in Singapore relating to deliveries.
• Coordinate and follow up on inventory kept at consignment locations
• Review that movements are handled correctly with supporting documents.
• Ensure inventory tally with system at the end of each month.
• Coordinate incoming shipments and arrange for its clearance.
• Follow up with Purchaser and forwarders on incoming shipments to Singapore.
• Assist in Singapore system order shipping during busy period.
• Follow up with warehouse to see that they perform their order shipping when instructed.

Qualifications and Experience Required

• Min Diploma with 5 years working experience in related function.
• Shipping knowledge, Incoterms 2020 & UCP no 600.
• Familiar with LC and COO.
• MS Office Skills.
• Interpersonal, planning & organizational skills, resourceful and service oriented.
