Job summary

A leading recruitment agency in Singapore is looking for an experienced Accountant to manage accounting processes for shipping business. The candidate must have 2 years of relevant experience and proficiency in Korean to liaise with Korean-speaking clients. Skills in Microsoft Excel and ERP (SAP) are required. The position offers a chance to handle compliance under the Maritime Sector Incentive (MSI-AIS) scheme.

Qualifications

• Manage the client registration processes.

• Managing the client registration processes
• billing and Vessel Operating Cost review

• Assist with General Ledger and Bank reconciliation.
• Assist in the preparation of budgets, financial statements report.
• Responsible for the shipping business accounts
• Manage and keep track of Accounts Payable and receivable
• Proficiency in managing funds transactions and accounting procedures is required.
• Managing tax-exempt qualifying income under the Maritime Sector Incentive (MSI-AIS) scheme in compliance with MPA guidelines
• Managing local business spending (LBS) to meet annual reporting and compliance requirements
• Communication and Collaboration: coordinate with involved parties
• Claims and Compliance : handle the writing and management of claims

[Requirements]

• Korean speaking proficiency is required to liaise with both Korean-speaking customers and HQ in Korea
• 2 years of working experience in accountant
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, outlook is required and ERP (SAP)
