Job Description

A career in Ship Broking is exciting, interesting, challenging, and highly competitive, not to mention rewarding.

We are looking for a Ship Operator to join us in Singapore. You will work alongside our experienced Brokers to help strengthen relationships with existing clients and execute flawless shipping operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitoring shipping schedules at both loading and discharging ports.

  • Updating our customers on the requirements relating to the contract and not limited to voyage orders.

  • Ensure relevant documentation are in place throughout the contract

  • Liaising with customers to resolve issues amicably.

  • Invoicing of hire payments, including bunker calculations, deductions, off-hire time and bunkers, and other deductions.

  • Handling ad-hoc operational matters.

Must have Key Attributes

  • · Effective communication skills (both verbal and written)

  • . Extensive experience (2-3+ years) in the maritime industry, with a strong background in ship operations

  • · Proficiency in Mandarin is required in order to liaise directly with Mandarin speaking client

  • · Personable and engaging

  • · Strong attention to detail and focus on accuracy

  • · Driven, self-motivated and client-focused

  • · Confident and able to work well under pressure

  • An individual who takes responsibility and the initiative to learn.
