Qualifications

• Proficient in reading and following work instructions and production docs.
• Demonstrates sound judgment and safety accountability.
• Able to coordinate people, workflow and priorities within the plan without formal authority.
• Balances production needs with equipment, material, quality and staffing requirements.
• Collaborates with production support functions and cross-functional partners.

Responsibilities

• Translate approved production plans into work assignments and priorities.
• Coordinate manpower deployment, shift-start communication and handovers.
• Ensure trainees are trained and authorized before tasks.
• Monitor safety, quality and operational metrics; assist in reporting and escalation.
• Act as first point of contact for routine production, material, equipment, inventory, and quality issues.
• Review shift records and training documentation for completeness and accuracy.
• Coordinate area-level training and cross-training per the approved process.
• Coach team members on standard work and safety practices; address readiness gaps.
• Lead or coordinate local continuous improvement actions; verify sustainment.
• Perform trained production support tasks such as equipment setup, operation, labeling, packing and material handling.
• Support related manufacturing activities within the lead scope.
