Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems when necessary.
Operate valves and pumps to admit or drain specified amounts of materials, impurities, or treating agents to or from equipment.
Flush or clean equipment, using steam hose or mechanical reamer.
Draw samples of product and send to laboratory for analysis.
Responsible for the manufacturing of chemical products and sustain safe operation at the Polymerization plant.
Monitor polymerization and utility supporting processes and aim to achieve optimized quality and yield production.
Troubleshoot and take corrective action to ensure operating parameters are within Standard Operating Conditions for the production of quality products.
Actively participate in EHSS activities including concern reporting, Safety Risk Assessment (SRA), and EHSS committee meetings.
Assist in maintenance work and perform routine cleaning of process equipment such as heat exchangers and strainers.
Capture all activities and adjustments made during shift in the logbook, and properly escalate any unresolved operational variances.
Follow up and follow through all TOI/TA/Interlock bypass according to plan/instruction.
Manage and coordinate logistics and downstream production team for raw material handling, finished goods management, and packaging.
Participate in drills and emergency response training to ensure a high degree of readiness in response to any emergency situations.
Participate in EHSS, Cost & Quality improvement projects.
Requirements:
Preferably with 3 years’ relevant work experience in a chemical plant.
Good knowledge and experience in PTW system and ERT training.
Mechanical-related working experience is a plus.
Knowledgeable about chemical process plant operation.
