Job description

Job Responsibilities

1. Follow written and verbal instructions routinely to operate the plant(s), site services, and vehicle loading/unloading safely and efficiently. The specific scope may vary between sites.

2. Identify and suggest safety and efficiency improvements in your work area. Participate in multidisciplinary teams to prioritize and implement these improvements.

3. Communicate effectively and accurately with the production team and other site functions (e.g., maintenance, planning, logistics) through verbal, e-mail, and written methods.

4. Take accountability for your own health and safety and for those around you who may be affected by your actions.

5. Maintain safe work methods and adhere to site-specific SHE standards, including risk identification and assessment, permit compliance, and incident reporting. Understand the importance of attention to detail and following instructions fully.

6. Make routine decisions regarding plant and site service operations following established procedures. Refer non-routine decisions to your line manager or Team Leader.

7. Plan and organize your work and materials during your shift, and prepare for the next shift to meet site logistics and production goals. Ensure safe and effective handovers between shifts.

8. Train and coach new recruits in their roles.

9. Perform maintenance tasks as required (site-specific). Prepare plant(s) or equipment for maintenance following instructions.

10. Conduct analytical testing as specified for your site.

11. Identify and respond to emergency situations and follow emergency procedures. This may include participating in emergency response activities outside of regular hours, depending on the site.
