Job summary

Ultra Clean Technology in Singapore is seeking a Technician Lead to guide a section of production staff, ensuring productivity, quality and on-time delivery. The role requires hands-on leadership, strong teamwork, and the ability to mentor new staff in a cleanroom environment.

You will coordinate with engineers on line issues, participate in continuous improvement, and support production with various tasks. Shift work and OT may be required to meet manufacturing demands.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years relevant experience in manufacturing/engineering.
• Able to read electrical and mechanical drawings.
• Willing to commit to shift pattern and OT if required.
• Able to carry up to 20 kg.
• Willing to work in a cleanroom wearing jumpsuits, helmet and safety shoes.

Responsibilities

• Lead and guide a section of production staff to meet productivity, on-time delivery, quality objectives and KPIs.
• Establish work discipline and motivate production staff.
• Lead continuous improvement activities.
• Train and mentor new hires (Buddy System).
• Collaborate with engineers on line issues, problem solving and troubleshooting.
• Stand in for manufacturing supervisor during production issue discussions with cross-functional teams.
• Support production and perform ad hoc tasks as assigned.
