Job summary

Ultra Clean Technology in Singapore is seeking a Technician Lead to steer a section of production staff toward achieving productivity, on-time delivery and quality KPIs. The role requires hands-on experience, a proactive mindset and the ability to work in a demanding cleanroom environment.

The ideal candidate holds an NITEC-level qualification or Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics/Mechatronics and has at least 3 years of relevant manufacturing/engineering experience.

Qualifications

• NITEC or Higher NITEC or Professional Certificate or equivalent.
• Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics or Engineering.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in manufacturing/engineering.

Responsibilities

• Lead and guide production staff to achieve productivity, on-time delivery, quality objectives and departmental KPIs.
• Create work discipline and motivation to production staff.
• Lead in continuous improvement activities.
• Train and guide new comers (Buddy System) and potential manufacturing leads.
• Collaborate with engineers on line issues, problem solving and troubleshooting.
• Stand in for manufacturing supervisor on production issue discussions with cross-functional team.
• Support production and any relevant ad hoc duties as assigned by the superior.
