Job description

Responsibilities (Text Only)
  1. Serve as an operations specialist in Electrical CE operations (e.g., electrical, UPS, STS, LV/HV, generators) and work on advanced tasks independently.
  2. Inspect and supervise critical environment-related facility equipment (e.g., controls, HVAC, mechanical systems), building, and grounds regularly for unsafe or abnormal conditions and escalate per applicable policies and standards.
  3. Utilize internal computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) to track all equipment assets and complete work order requests for maintenance work.
  4. Safely and quickly respond to and lead onsite incident response teams for all abnormal conditions that impact operations, coordinating with other critical facilities professionals to perform corrective repairs without supervision.
  5. Enhance, develop, or follow existing emergency operating procedures (EOPs), methods of procedure (MOPs), and standard operating procedures (SOPs) related to CE operations and incidents.
  6. Perform various types of maintenance (planned, predictive, corrective) and repairs following methods of procedure (MOPs) and SOPs for one or more types of equipment (e.g., electrical, mechanical, cooling systems) with minimal oversight.
  7. Have a hands-on understanding of equipment operation and troubleshooting within trained disciplines, independently diagnosing issues with systems, subsystems, and components.
  8. Provide consultation to lower-level colleagues in troubleshooting systems and problems.
  9. Understand, follow, and ensure safety and security requirements (e.g., JHAs, EH&S, toolbox talks) and business procedures to perform work safely, reliably, and in compliance with Microsoft standards.
