Responsibilities
- Serve as an operations specialist in one major area of CE operations (e.g., electrical, mechanical, controls, generators) and work on advanced tasks independently.
- Inspect and supervise critical environment-related facility equipment (e.g., controls, HVAC, mechanical systems), building, and grounds regularly for unsafe or abnormal conditions and escalate per applicable policies and standards.
- Utilize internal computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) to track all equipment assets and complete work order requests for maintenance.
- Respond safely and quickly to onsite incident response scenarios for all abnormal conditions impacting operations, coordinating with other facilities professionals to perform corrective repairs without supervision.
- Develop or follow preexisting emergency operating procedures (EOPs), methods of procedure (MOPs), and standard operating procedures (SOPs) related to CE operations and incidents.
- Perform various maintenance types (planned, predictive, corrective) and repairs following MOPs and SOPs for equipment such as electrical, mechanical, and cooling systems, with minimal oversight.
- Understand equipment operation and troubleshoot systems, subsystems, and components independently within trained disciplines.
- Provide troubleshooting consultation to lower-level colleagues.
- Follow safety and security requirements (e.g., JHAs, EH&S, toolbox talks) and business procedures to perform work safely, reliably, and within Microsoft standards.
