Job summary

Good Job Creations Singapore is looking for a qualified SHEQ professional to lead and manage environmental health and safety programs across our operations. The role focuses on regulatory compliance, incident investigation, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives to reduce risk and emissions.

The ideal candidate brings 3+ years of process safety or SHEQ experience, a Diploma in engineering, QA exposure, and relevant certifications.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or related engineering discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in process safety, hazard management, or SHEQ functions within manufacturing, pharmaceutical, petrochemical, or related industries.
• Experience in quality assurance (QA).
• Internal Auditor or ISO Auditor qualification for ISO 14001 and/or ISO 45001.
• Fire Safety Manager certification recognized by the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF).
• Registration as a Workplace Safety and Health Officer (WSHO) with MOM is an added advantage.
• Experience in process design, technical support, or operations is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with environmental, health, safety, and quality regulations, corporate standards, and statutory requirements.
• Implement and manage programs that reduce workplace incidents, environmental risks, and operational hazards.
• Collaborate with Workplace Safety and Health stakeholders to investigate, review, and manage SHE-related incidents and corrective actions.
• Coordinate and maintain SHE management systems, ensuring a compliant and safe work environment.
• Monitor certification applications, permit renewals, license validity, and certification status.
• Liaise with certification bodies and coordinate internal and external audits.
• Administer local SHE and facility-related licenses and certifications to ensure ongoing regulatory compliance.
• Conduct industrial hygiene monitoring, hazard analyses, and evaluations of hazard control measures.
• Prepare, maintain, and manage SHE documentation for audits, inspections, and compliance reviews.
• Lead monthly SHE meetings, audits, and workplace inspections to identify risks and drive continuous improvement.
• Provide guidance to employees, contractors, and visitors on health, safety, environmental, and security requirements.
• Organize safety awareness campaigns, training sessions, and Gemba safety activities to strengthen safety culture.
• Advise on engineering and maintenance practices to improve safe operating procedures.
• Collaborate with contractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders to resolve safety, health, and environmental issues.
• Monitor environmental compliance requirements and keep abreast of regulatory developments and industry trends.
• Track and submit mandatory environmental reports, including packaging waste and 3R reporting requirements.
• Support sustainability initiatives aimed at reducing waste generation, energy consumption, and carbon emissions.
